Modal verbs

 los modals verbs son verbos auxiliares, puede expresar habilidad, necesidad, condición, o modalidad

Can: se usa para pedir y dar permiso, es informal

Could: se usa para pedir permiso y es formal

May: se usa para pedir permiso, dar permiso y es más formal que el anterior 

Usamos can't y mustn't para mostrar que algo está prohibido o no está permitido

Usamos can't para hablar de algo que va en contra de las reglas, cuando no las creamos nosotros 

Se usa musn't para hablar de lo que no está permitido, es común en letreros y avisos públicos que informan a las personas sobre las leyes

Reported speech  is how we represent the speech of other people or what we ourselves say. There are two main types of reported speech: direct speech and indirect speech. Direct speech repeats the exact words the person used, or how we remember their words: Barbara said,   “I didn’t realise it was midnight.” In indirect speech, the original speaker’s words are changed.
