Past perfect

 El past perfect se usa para expresar el pasado y cómo fueron sucediendo dichas acciones y presenta las siguientes estructuras 


1. Estructura afirmativa 

Sujeto + auxiliar had + verbo en pasado + complemento

Ejemplo: 

I had met them before the meeting

2. Estructura negativa 

Sujeto + auxiliary had + not + verbo en pasado + complemento

Ejemplo: 

I had not said how long will the video call is

3. Estructura interrogativa 

Auxiliar had + sujeto + verbo en pasado + complemento ?

Ejemplo 

Had I gone to eat before lunch time

Reported Speech Affirmative

Reported speech  is how we represent the speech of other people or what we ourselves say. There are two main types of reported speech: direct speech and indirect speech. Direct speech repeats the exact words the person used, or how we remember their words: Barbara said,   “I didn’t realise it was midnight.” In indirect speech, the original speaker’s words are changed.
