 V: So what are you doing these days?
Y: Well, I´m looking for travel tickets 
V: No kidding! I thought you had other plans
Y: Thas´t right. I was thinking of going on an exchange but I thought better of it and I want to leave the country to continue  studying in my specialization
V: How come?
Y: Well, my parents also halped me make the decision saying that it was the best and they are right

Reported Speech Affirmative

Reported speech  is how we represent the speech of other people or what we ourselves say. There are two main types of reported speech: direct speech and indirect speech. Direct speech repeats the exact words the person used, or how we remember their words: Barbara said,   “I didn’t realise it was midnight.” In indirect speech, the original speaker’s words are changed. Barbara said  she hadn’t realised it was midnight . I had planned to study medicine because my mom wanted it that way, she loves that profession. The plans changed because it was not what I wanted, I did not see myself in that profession so I decided to study psychology And I am very happy because I had the time to think if it was what I wanted and I am vey happy because it is a profession thaht I love and I really like
